The Westwood High Alumni Association was founded in the fall of 2005 by alumni from the class of 1971, who had formed a scholarship fund in their class' name in 2003. All funds from the class of 1971 were turned over to the alumni association and used to set up the Westwood High Alumni Association Scholarship Fund.
